Paa Kwasi Fabin Has Never Won a Trophy : The Aduana Football Club head coach saw his team lead the Ghana Premier League standings for most parts of the season but failed win the 2022/23 title.
The Ogya Boys were defeated at Nsoatreman FC on Sunday by 2-0 during Week 33 of the league season and it is the reverse that effectively ended their title ambitions as Medeama SC drew at Samartex and Bechem United won against Berekum Chelsea.
At the start of the season , the two-time winners launched a campaign to win the Double of the league and MTN FA Cup but Paa Kwasi is ending the season without any of the two.
Fabin is one of the longest-serving coaches in the Ghanaian top-flight but has never been able to become a league winning manager.
In fact he has never won any major silverware in the country and his latest failure , maybe , proves that he is not a technical boss you can count on to win you laurels.
The current Aduana boss has managed league sides such as Asante Kotoko , Heart of Lions , Wassaman , Hearts of Oak and Inter Allies in the past his experience did not mean anything as Augustine Evans Adotey and Medeama displaced them from the top position.
Whilst the Dormaa-based side lost 3-0 at Accra Lions on May 20th in Accra , the Yellow and Mauves produced one of the best performances of the season to annihilate Hearts of Oak by 5-1 in the capital on May 21st and that was the turning point of the season.
