Prosper Narteh Ogum managerial record at Asante Kotoko: Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has supervised 88 football matches in three noncontinuous spells with the Porcupine Warriors.
Last Saturday’s Ghana Premier League win over Dreams FC was the 43rd victory for Dr. Ogum as Kotoko boss.
Ogum led Kotoko to the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League with a record of 19 wins, 10 draws, and 5 losses. His team scored 48 goals and conceded 20. However, Kotoko were eliminated from the MTN FA Cup in the Round of 64 after they lost to King Faisal 1-0.
The former WAFA head coach would resign from his post shockingly ahead of the 2022-23 season after falling out with the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management over player transfer matters.
Kotoko turned to Burkina Faso trainer Seydou Zerbo to defend their league title. The expatriate coach was sacked in March 2023 after a home loss to Medeama. Then, assistant coach Abdulai Gazale was put in interim charge of the team till the end of the season that saw Kotoko finish 4th in the league.
Following drastic leadership changes made by life patron of the Reds, Otumfour Osei Tutu II, Ogum returned to Kotoko ahead of last season as head coach and an interim management committee member. The Porcupine Warriors finished 6th in the Ghana Premier League with a record of 14 wins, 7 draws, and 13 defeats. The team were knocked out of the FA Cup in the Round of 16 by Karela United.
In the current league campaign, Kotoko sit 6th with 28 points after 16 games with a win-draw-lose record of 8-4-4 and have reached the FA Cup Round of 32.

MTN FA Cup: Played 6 games, 4 wins, and 2 defeats. 9 goals scored and 5 conceded.
Overall: Played 90 games, 45 wins, 21 draws, and 24 defeats. 108 goals scored and 65 conceded. Ogum boasts a 49.4% win percentage.
