Salis Abdul Samed Loses Lens Captain Seko Fofana

Salis Abdul Samed Loses Lens Captain Seko Fofana : As announced by journalist Fabrizio Romano and confirmed by RMC Sport, Seko Fofana will join Saudi Arabia during this summer transfer window. The RC Lens midfielder will join the Al-Nassr club, based in Riyadh, where Cristiano Ronaldo in particular plays.

The end of an unforgettable adventure. Seko Fofana is preparing to leave RC Lens during this summer transfer window. As announced by journalist Fabrizio Romano and confirmed by RMC Sport, the captain of the Sang et Or will join Saudi Arabia.

The transfer of the Ivorian attacker will bring in nearly 20 million euros for Lens, which will compete in the Champions League next season, after finishing second in the last French championship behind PSG.

Arrived three years ago from Udinese (for 8.5 million euros), Seko Fofana has established himself as an essential element of the Sang et Or, with whom he played 112 games, scoring 21 goals and delivering 12 assists (in all competitions).

With Ronaldo, Brozovic and Ospina

In the wake of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Ivorian international (8 caps, 3 goals) will find in Al Nassr his compatriot Ghislain Konan, the former full-back of Stade de Reims, but also the Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic or the Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina.

The team coached by Croatian Dinko Jelcic finished second in the last Saudi Arabian championship behind Al Ittihad, the new club of Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kanté.

Meanwhile the team of Ghana midfielder Salis Abdul Samed has already sold striker Lois Openda to RB Leipzig.
