Samuel Inkoom reacts to Hearts Win Over Accra Lions : Hearts of Oak defender Samuel Inkoom has reacted to the team’s Ghana Premier League Week 24 victory against Accra Lions during mid-week at the Accra sports stadium.
The Phobians won by 1-0 to bounce back to winning ways following their 3-0 defeat at Karela United last weekend.
Inkoom started the game at right back and it was his shot at goal in the 64th minute that resulted in Linda Mtange’s goal.
The former Asante Kotoko full-back saw his shot palmed away by Lions goalkeeper Andrews Owusu and the ball fell in front of Mtange who struck home the winner for Hearts of Oak.
“The Champion in the team came to bear today as the team showed Character, discipline, and aggression for victory on the pitch.
A Big thank you to all the supporters who came to support us and to Our Biggest Supporter, Togbe Afede XIV, and the Board Members. Phobia!!!!” , the 2010 World Cup player for Ghana tweeted.
The Continental Club Masters are now 4th on the league table ( 38 points in 24 games ) after Medeama SC won their match against Bibiani Gold Stars on Thursday morning. The Yellow and Mauves move to third on the table with their 40 points taken from 24 matches played.
