Seydou Zerbo Names 20-man Kotoko squad for Medeama Showdown in Tarkwa

Long-term absentee, Patrick has returned from injury to make his debut in the BetPawa Ghana Premier League this season.

He will be available for selection this weekend after missing fifteen games, thirteen league matches and two Champions League games.

On the back of a vital victory over Samartex last weekend, Kotoko face a much tougher test against Medeama SC.

Asante Kotoko will visit the Mauves in the BetPawa Premier League on Saturday afternoon in a game both sides really need to win on week six.

The Porcupines can move level with Aduana Stars with a victory to boost their hopes of defending the title before the break for the FIFA World Cup.

Meanwhile, David Duncan’s side will aim to bounce back from defeat and close the gap the on the league table, after they were defeated by Great Olympics on Monday.

Kotoko are yet to taste defeat on each of their previous two visits to Tarkwa and will be hoping to extend this record.

Those who remain out of action for the Reds ahead of this showdown in the Western Region are uncapped Maxwell Agyemang and Isaac Oppong.

Maxwell Agyemang is an absentee who is yet to kick a ball in the BetPawa Premier League this season. He was surprisingly dropped from their last clash against Samartex meanwhile, Opppng who played against Samartex last weekend has been replaced by Georges Mfegue who missed the team’s last three fixtures
