SSNIT – Bekwai Branch to summon Nations FC to court for non compliance

The Social Security and National Insurance Trust ( SSNIT) is in a serious chase for the Director of Nations Football Club in the Ashanti Region for refusing to Register the Club and pay SSNIT Contributions on behalf of their players, technical team and management members since their time in the Ghana Division One League.

SSNIT have no option than to issue summons within this week to compel them to comply.

Information reaching our desk indicates that, SSNIT actually wanted to summon them some months ago but Nkoo Joseph who is the National Coordinator of the SSNIT- FOOTBALLERS Registration pleaded on their behalf for SSNIT to allow them finish playing the National Division 1 league which was at it peak.

SSNIT expected that they will do the right thing after their qualification to the Ghana Premier League ( GPL) but they have refused with so many excuses since then.

The National coordinator of the program, Nkoo Joseph actually confirmed the news.

” it’s true and I’m even surprise at their behavior. I personally intervened and advised Kennedy Boakye Ansah and Alex when our Branch at Bekwai decided to summon them some months ago for not complying but after standing in for them and they qualified, it’s been stories left and right so I have decided to backed out of their case for the law to take its own course” , Mr Nkoo stated.
