“We were determined to use Kotoko as a farewell for our late board member” – Aduana General Manager Takyi Arhin

Takyi Arhin on Kotoko Win : General manager of Aduana Stars Takyi Arhin says the club were determined to eliminate Asante Kotoko from the MTN FA Cup and used it as a farewell for Aduanahene Nana Barimah Yeboah Kordie I who passed away days before the Round of 16 clash. 

The Aduanahene was also a board member of the club.

The Ogya Boys won the knockout game by 1-0 thanks to Sam Adams 60th minute penalty at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Stadium on Sunday.

“He was the Aduanahene and also a board member of the club and so we needed to give him a perfect farewell.” Takyi Arhin said to Fox FM on Monday.

“So that is why defeated Kotoko and dedicated the win to the late Aduanahene” the Aduana Stars general manager added.
