“We played so bad and they played so well” – Hearts of Oak coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru after Bofoakwa Tano defeat on Saturday !

Hearts of Oak assistant head coach Abdul Rahim Bashiru says the Phobians played badly against Bofoakwa Tano especially in the first half.

The visitors were defeated by the Sunyani-based side by 1-0 at the Sunyani Coronation Park during Week Three of the Ghana Premier League.

Martin Koopman , the head coach of the team was absent as Abdul Rahim Bashiru took charge of the match

“Well to be frank with you we played so bad especially in the first half. That was not the plan. The score line was a fair score line because they were ahead of us in the first half. In the second half we don’t know what happened.” , Abdul Rahim Shaibu said after the match.

“First two minutes of the second half they had their goal and later part of the game we came into the game but it was too late. I think they played so well but they are spoiling the beauty of the game because their players going down and all that but they played so well” , he added.
