Chairman of Asante Kotoko Interim Management Committee (IMC), Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua says they are ready to do anything to ensure teh playing body are comfortable to compete.
The Porcupine Warriors struggled last season and finished at the 4th on the pile.
Following the dissolution of the board of directors and the Nana Yaw Amponsah-led management, the life patron of the club, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II named a four-member Interim Management Committee (IMC) to steer the club.
Having visited the training grounds on Monday, Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua urged the players the IMC are ready to do anything to ensure they are ready and comfortable.
He also added that they are aware they are rebuilding but reiterated they are expecting the team to come out as a good team.
“We are here to keep urging you on and like I have said before, we are always ready to do what it takes to make you feel comfortable,” he said.
“We know we are rebuilding but we are expecting you to come out as a good team,” he added.
The IMC comprises of Nana Apinkra Akwasi Awua; the Kontomponiaferehene and a chartered accountant, former Black Stars coach Appiah, Dr Ogum, and Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi as the administrative manager.
Asante Kotoko will open their campaign with a home game against Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The 2023/24 football season will kick off in September later this year.
