Alhaji Grusah Blasts GFA Boss Kurt Okraku : King Faisal Football Club President Alhaji Karim Grusah has taken a swipe at the President of the Ghana Football Association following his club’s relegation from the Ghana Premier League.
Faisal finished 17th on the final league standings of the 2023/24 season after collecting 39 points in 34 matches.
The Kumasi-based side who moved their home venue from Kumasi to Abrankese during the season filed a protest against Tamale City for the alleged use of an unqualified player by the latter.
The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA DC) investigated the matter and dismissed the protest of Faisal. The latter , not satisfied by the decision of the GFA DC , filed an appeal which also turned out to be unsuccessful as the GFA Appeals Committee upheld the earlier verdict of the GFA DC.
“What has Kurt Okraku done for Ghana football.” , Alhaji Grusah quizzed on Luv FM.
“He (Kurt Okraku) called me to his office and told me that I have no case but he wants to help me. Tell Kurt to resign together with his General Secretary.” , Grusah added.
