Liverpool vs Man United Postponement News: Adverse weather conditions in north England is likely to impact Premier League fixtures this weekend with the Liverpool vs Manchester United clash set to be rescheduled.
United are set to take on arch-rivals Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, but that Matchweek 20 encounter is at risk of not going ahead as planned due to the heavy snowfall in England.
Liverpool City Council’s Safety Advisory Group is now set to hold a meeting on Sunday morning ahead of the game. The warning lasts from 6pm on Saturday night and will run until 12pm on Sunday afternoon, more than four hours before kick-off against United.
Arne Slot’s side have already seen their home fixture against Everton postponed this season due to Storm Darragh in early December.

Meanwhile, Man United have released a statement regarding the situation as the Reds expect the match to still go ahead ‘at this stage.’
A club statement reads:
“Our match against Liverpool is set to still go ahead at this stage, despite snow and weather warnings in the North West today. Take care if you are travelling to the game — we will update you with the latest developments.”
