Hearts Troubles : Hearts of Oak board member Honorable Vincent Odotei Sowah has hit back at critics and fans who are calling for his resignation from the board.
The Phobians have seen a bad start to the 2022/23 season. Head coach Samuel Boadu was sacked following a Ghana Premier League away draw at Asante Kotoko and the club got booted out from Africa just in the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round against AS Real Bamako of Mali.
Many Phobians have since started a social media campaign to get board members Odotei Sowah and Alhaji Akanbi out of the club the former has strongly responded to his critics.
“I will not resign from the board. I was appointed by the board chairman and he is the only person who can say I should leave and that will be all” Odotei Sowah was quoted by Hot FM.
“I was invited by the board and they announced my appointment so its purely based on my competence as a club administrator” he added.
