Champions League win for Sebe Baffour

Champions League win for Sebe Baffour :  Horoya Athletic Club defeated Simba Sports Club by 1-0 during the opening round of group stage matches of the 2022/23 CAF Champions League as Ghana midfielder Seyei Sebe Baffour featured for the Guinea side.

Senegalese Pape Ndiaye scored the only goal of the game in the 18th minute at the Stade Général Lansana Conté.

Baffour who joined Horoya AC in July 2016 from RC Kadiogo of Burkina Faso was introduced into the game in the 63rd minute and the Ghanaian went on to help the home team preserve their narrow lead till full time.

This match was the 30th appearance of Baffour in the CAF Champions League for Horoya.

Meanwhile Raja CA humiliated Vipers of Uganda by 5-0 in the other Group C encounter.

Vipers receive Horoya in Entebbe whilst Simba welcome Raja AC on February 18th during the second round of group play.
