Linda Mtange Says Hearts Can Win League Title : Hearts of Oak playmaker Linda Mtange says the Phobians can surely win the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League but acknowledges that fact that the team would have to work hard to achieve this objective.
The Congolese midfield maestro was voted man of the match against Accra Lions on Wednesday during mid-week of the Ghana Premier League as he netted the only goal of the game played at the Accra Sports stadium.
Linda was at the right place at the right time to smash home the winning goal after Lions goalkeeper Andrews Owusu failed to deal with a Samuel Inkoom effort in the area.
“Everything is possible yes we can win the league but we will have to work hard to win the league this season” , the expatriate footballer said after the win against Lions yesterday.
Hearts of Oak on 38 points in 22 games moved to third place on the league table following the completion of Wednesday games but after Medeama won their rained-off match against Gold Stars continued on Thursday , the Phobians are now 4th.
Despite his lack of goals , Linda remains one of the best attacking players of the Ghanaian giants putting in top performance in almost every game.
