Partey Starts for Arsenal against Leeds United on April 1st : Thomas Partey is in the Arsenal starting team to face Leeds United on Saturday in a Week 29 English Premier League match.
The Black Stars midfielder missed the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualification match against Angola in Luanda on March 27th due to a small injury issues as revealed by Ghana head coach Chris Hughton.
“Thomas has some small issues, a small injury issue and we felt it was too big of a risk to start him,” the Ghana boss said when he was asked why Partey had been left on the bench against Angola.
Partey had led Ghana to defeat the Angolans in in the previous qualifier played in Kumasi on March 23rd with the former Atletico Madrid man producing a top performance.
The match kicks off 14 : 00 GMT.
