France : Neymar returns to PSG training

Neymar is Back to PSG Group Training : Neymar has returned to Paris after spending part of his recovery in his home country following ankle surgery.

The Paris Saint-Germain forward’s injury had kept him out of action since February, but the club announced that the latest medical tests on his ankle were reassuring.

“Neymar Jr is back at the training center. The Paris Saint-Germain medical staff and the surgeons who operated on him removed his immobilization boot today.

The examinations are reassuring. The player will now continue his rehabilitation protocol in Paris,” said PSG in a statement released Thursday.

While in Brazil, Neymar was seen watching a Counter-Strike (CS:GO) game played by some of his friends. The 31-year-old, who recently announced that he is expecting his second child, will now be able to focus on his recovery in France and gradually consider a long term return to the pitch.

Neymar injured his ankle during PSG’s match against Lille on February 19 and underwent surgery shortly after. The club has confirmed that he will not play again until next season.

The former Barcelona winger has scored 118 goals in 173 matches for PSG across all competitions since joining the Parisians in 2017.
