OFFICIAL : Aduana spokesman has reacted to GFA’s decision to ban the club from playing in Dormaa indefinitely

Aduana Defeat Great Olympics in Abrankese on April 15th : Aduana Football Club defeated Great Olympics by 1-0 at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex on Saturday afternoon during Week 26 of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League.

Frank Owusu netted the only goal of the encounter as the Ogya Side held on to win with the slim margin in Abrankese.

The game took place at this venue due to the temporal home ban against Aduana FC from playing at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Stadium.

Owusu was also on target for Aduana in their 2-2 draw against King Faisal FC in the FA Cup quarter-final last weekend as the two-time Ghana champions went out on penalties.

Aduana lead the league table with 47 points in 26 games played as Bechem United who were defeated at Tamale City today still occupy the second place on 41 points but Medeama SC and Hearts of Oak at the 3rd and 4th places respectively play on Sunday.

Final 8 Matches of the League Season of Aduana FC :

Asante Kotoko (Away) on 21st April

Bibiani Gold Stars (Home) on 23rd April

Kotoku Royals (Away) on 30th April

Karela United (Home) on 7th May

Accra Lions (Away) on 21st May

Dreams FC (Home) on 28th May

Nsoatreman FC (Away) on 4th June

Bechem United (Home) on 11th June

What Next?

For their Week 27 match , the Ogya Side take on Asante Kotoko at the Babayara sports stadium on April 21st.

The Porcupine Warriors were totally defeated at Berekum Chelsea on Friday as Chelsea imposed an emphatic 3-0 defeat against the champions.

Kalou Ouattara netted two powerful headers in the 50th and 63rd minutes before Ansu Kofi Patrick made it 3-0 for the 2011 Ghana champions in the 85th.

Abdulai Gazale and his team would surely be looking for a positive reaction against Aduana FC who we all know are credible opposition.
