Andre Ayew Misses Penalty against Tottenham Hotspur : Andre Ayew failed to score from the spot for Nottingham Forest in their Premier League defeat at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
Forest were defeated 3-1 by Antonio Conte’s side who got eliminated from the UEFA Champions League by AC Milan last Wednesday.
Harry Kane netted twice in the 19th and 35th minutes to put Spurs ahead in the game. Son Heung-Min made it 3-0 for Tottenham Hotspur two minutes after the hour mark before Joe Worrall pulled a goal back for the visitors in the 81st minute.
Nottingham Forest were then awarded a penalty in injury time and Ayew who came off the bench at the start of the second half failed against goalkeeper Fraser Forster.
This means the Ghana skipper has now failed to score any of his last two penalties after missing one against Uruguay at the last FIFA World Cup in Qatar as Ghana were defeated 2-0 by the South Americans.
