Bechem United Defeat Hearts of Oak on April 22nd , 2023 : Hafiz Wontah Konkoni became the outright leadin goal scorer of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League thanks to his 13th strike of the season against Hearts of Oak on Saturday as Bechem United claimed a 1-0 win.
The Hunters were put ahead in the 22nd minute by Wontah Konkoni who netted from the spot and that was the only goal of the Week 27 encounter at the Nana Ansu Gyeabour Park.
Bechem are now just three points adrift of league leaders Aduana FC who play tomorrow against Asante Kotoko in Kumasi. The Ogya Side lead the standings on 47 points in 26 games whilst the team of Kasim Mingle comes second with 44 points in 27 matches played.
