From his first year across the Channel, Erling Haaland has the Kingdom under his belt. Unsurprisingly, the Manchester City striker was acclaimed this Friday by the FWA , which awards its prize for the best Premier League player each year.
For 82% of voters, the Norwegian was the footballer of the year in England. He is well ahead of the two Arsenal players Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
His teammate Kevin De Bruyne fails at the foot of the podium, ahead of Marcus Rashford (Manchester United).

A well-deserved reward for Haaland, who is having a historic season: he has scored 51 goals and provided 8 assists in 47 matches for Manchester City this season.
