The Black Stars of Ghana were too strong for The Lone Stars of Liberia during an international friendly match in Accra on Tuesday as Ghana won 3-1.
Goals from Lyon attacker Ernest Appiah Nuamah in the 51st minute , West Ham United midfielder Mohammed Kudus in the 59th and Crystal Palace forward Jordan Ayew in the 82nd were enough for Chris Hughtons side.
The visitors however scored a consolation goal in the 90th minute thanks to Divine Roosevelt Teah.
The Black Stars defeated Central African Republic by 2-1 to qualify for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations last Thursday and this represented a fine opportunity for the Ghanaian team to immediately begin preparations for the AFCON to be hosted in Ivory Coast in 2024.
Medeama SC striker Jonathan Sowah was introduced into the game to make his Ghana debut.
