Hearts NCC and Kotoko NCC To Collaborate : Accra Hearts of Oak’s National Chapters Committee chairman Elvis Herman Hesse has revealed plans to collaborate with their Asante Kotoko counterparts in a bid to boost stadium attendance among their supporters.
The Super Clash of 6th March at the Accra sports stadium involving Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko was excellent for every reason expect fan turnout which was horribly low.
Despite the fact that free gates were opened for spectators to come and watch the league clash which doubled as the 2023 GHALCA President’s Cup , there were still plenty empty seats.
Now in a move to tackle the dwindling stadium attendance , the supporters leadership of both clubs are planning to come together to achieve a common goal.
“We will discuss with our brothers Kotoko to get them on board despite the rivalry to also launch some of these operations to get the fans to the stadium. I had a discussion with the NCC chairman and vice of Kotoko on the way forward.” , Elvis Herman Hesse told Oyerepa Radio on Saturday.
The NCC has launched “Operation 10 000 Supporters ” for the Hearts of Oak – Kotoku Royals Ghana Premier League Week 22 game on Sunday at the Accra sports stadium.
