Kotoko Coach Seydou Zerbo : The Burkinabe says he cannot promise to win the CAF Champions League for Asante Kotoko within a year of his appointment as head coach.

Zerbo was brought in as replacement for Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum left his role last month.

The former Rail Cub de Kadiogo trainer led Kotoko to beat his former employers by 1-0 during the first leg of the CAF Champions League preliminary round played in Cotonou last Monday.

“I can’t promise winning the champions league within one year but what I can assure every supporter is that I will make good use of the materials available.” Seydou Zerbo said at press conference on Friday.

The second leg takes place on Sunday at the Babayara sports stadium.

The Porcupine Warriors have not won the biggest club competition in Africa since their last success in 1983.
