Medeama 3 Dreams FC 2 : A brace for Jonathan Sowah as Yellow and Mauves go second on the league standings

Jonathan Sowah Nets Brace for Medeama against Dreams FC : Jonathan Sowah netted a brace for Medeama SC in their 3-2 victory over Dreams FC on Wednesday at the Tarkwa Akoon Park during Week 28 of the Ghana Premier League.

The goals were the 6th and 7th in the Ghana Premier League for Sowah this season.

The powerful striker scored in the 8th minute to put Medeama ahead but Ishmael Dede equalized for Dreams. Sowah netted again in the 52nd to restore his team’s lead.

Ali Huzaif equalized for the away side three minutes from full time but Hamidu Abdu Fatawu got the winning goal for Augustine Evans Adotey’s side in stoppage time.

Medeama now are second on the league standings with 47 points collected from 28 matches as Aduana FC lead with three more points.

But it is Sowah’s impressive scoring form that is the main talk at the Yellow and Mauves. The striker has now scored 4 goals in his last 6 games for the club.

In term of the overall season the only Medeama player with more goals is Vincent Atingah who has 9 targets so far.
