King Faisal Are Facing Relegation After Samartex Defeat : King Faisal FC were defeated at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex by Samartex FC on Sunday in their Week 31 Ghana Premier League affair.
The Timber Giants won by 2-0 with goals from pacy winger Evans Osei Owusu and midfield maestro Emmanuel Keyekeh.
Samartex go 7th on the league standings thanks to this impressive win on the road but Faisal , who will contest the 2023 MTN FA Cup final , are 17th on the league table with 36 points in 31 games.
The Insha Allahu Boys travel to Medeama SC next on May 28th and considering the fact that the Yellow and Mauves lead the title race , it is difficult to back Faisal to get any positive result in Tarkwa against the team of Augustine Evans Adotey.
