King Faisal Sack Jimmy Corbblah : Asante Kotoko and King Faisal FC , the two Ghana Premier League clubs of the Ashanti Region have sacked their head coaches on Monday March 27th.
The Porcupine Warriors were first to announce the departure of Burkina Faso trainer Seydou Zerbo on Monday morning following a 2-0 home loss to Medeama SC on Sunday during Week 23 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Insha Allahu Side also announced that they have parted ways with head coach Jimmy Corbblah on Monday afternoon.
“CLUB STATEMENT. We can confirm that we have mutually parted ways with head coach Jimmy Corbblah.
Assistant Coach Godwin Ablordey has been put in acting capacity until the employment of a new substantive head coach.” , King Faisal announced via their social media channels.
Kotoko are 7th on the league table with 34 points in 22 games whilst Faisal are 16th in the relegation with 25 points taken from 23 games played.
The two teams meet on April 5th in the second Kumasi derby of the season.
