Kotoku Royals Defeat King Faisal by 4-2 : Akyem Kotoku Royals defeated King Faisal by 4-2 during their betPawa Ghana Premier League Week 23 encounter at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu.
Francis Andy Kumi put the home side ahead in the 12th minute before Augustine Boakye made it 2-0 for Royals in the 39th.
Richard Dzikoe added his name on the score sheet with his 43rd minute strike as Kotoku Royals took a commanding 3-0 lead.
The visiting team tried stage a comeback as Godfred Asiamah scored in the 63rd minute to make it 3-1 but Kotoku Royals scored again in the 66th minute.
With five minutes from time , Abdul Latif converted a penalty for King Faisal who eventually lost the game by 4-2.
The defeat keeps King Faisal at the 16th position on the league table with 25 points in 22 games played whilst Royals despite the victory remain root bottom of the standings with 20 points at the 18th place.
