TRANSFERS : Marseille wants Aubameyang from Chelsea !

Marseille Agree Terms With Aubameyang : Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is close to joining Olympique de Marseille. The Gabonese striker and the Marseille management agreed on Monday around a two-year contract, with an optional third year under consideration.

Marseille must now convince Chelsea to accept a free start during this summer transfer window.

Alexis Sanchez left after just one season, Marseille could soon welcome another illustrious former Arsenal player. Targeted during this summer transfer window, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is getting closer to Olympique de Marseille.

The Gabonese striker and the Marseille management have agreed on a two-year contract. A third optional year is under study for the attacker who has already played in Ligue 1 with Lille, Monaco or Saint-Etienne.

Chelsea open to discussion to release him

Bought from Barcelona in 2022, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang remains contractually bound with Chelsea until June 2024. In fact, the 34-year-old Gabonese is not free this summer.

However, Chelsea are open to discussing the possibility of letting him go free during this summer transfer window. A final negotiation must still be conducted between the French club and the Blues.

Despite his reduced playing time with the Londoners in 2022-2023 (22 games in all competitions), the former Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan player scored 3 goals and delivered 1 assist.

A rapid rebound after the failure of the Ndiaye track

As revealed by RMC Sport, Iliman Ndiaye will not come and this file constitutes a snub for the former team of Abedi Ayew , Andre Ayew and Jordan Ayew .

The Senegalese preferred the Sheffield United project, where he would be in the center, in the Premier League in the best championship in the world. One of the revelations of the Championship season also wanted to follow the advice of his family, who favored stability after the birth of his son.
