Young Africans Eyeing A Comeback in Algiers : The Young Africans coach remains convinced of their ability to overturn the 1-2 deficit conceded in Dar Es Salam a week ago. He spoke on the eve of their decisive match in the CAF Cup final against USM Alger.
The Tanzanian team lost the first part of the duel at home. A painful result that gives USM Algiers a lead. Despite this advantage of the Algerian team in this decisive round of the CAF Cup final this Saturday at the Stade du 5 Juillet, the Yanga coach is convinced of a glorious result.
“I believe we still have a chance to turn things around. We are a great team in Tanzania and representing our country, we have to do our best in the final,” Nasreddine Nabbi said at a press conference on Friday, according to CAFOnline.
“We came here to fight with our spirits and our blood. We will do our best and if Algiers win, we will congratulate them. But we will fight. The mental aspect of the players will make the difference in this game. We have to come in with a strong mentality to fight in a difficult game,” said the Tunisian coach.
The return leg of the 2022-23 CAF Cup begins at 7 p.m. GMT.
