Players Ratings of Black Meteors Against Guinea U23 : he Black Meteors of Ghana were eliminated from the 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday night following a draw against Guinea U23 national men’s team in Tangier.
Emmanuel Yeboah netted in the 33rd minute to put Ghana ahead as the CFR Cluj attacker registered his third strike of the competition but that was still not enough to keep Ibrahim Tanko’s team in the competition.
Ghana needed to win in order to stay in the tournament but Guinea proved the better side for majority of the second half as they created numerous scoring chances. They were finally rewarded in the 61st minute as Ibrahima Breze equalized with a wonderful volley following a corner kick.
