Kylian Mbappe’s Final Message to the People of Cameroon : PSG and France striker Kylian Mbappé has thanked  Cameroonians this Sunday after his three-day stay in his father Wilfrid’s native country.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup winner received a rock star welcome, worthy of that of a head of state.

If Kylian Mbappé wanted to stay incognito in Cameroon, the country of his father Wilfrid , he certainly failed because from Yaoundé to Douala via Djébalé, his father’s village, the French striker (24) did not go unnoticed, arousing impressive enthusiasm around him since his arrival on Thursday.

He also came for a visit dedicated to charitable works, we saw him meet Cameroonian political leaders such as Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute, go to a school for the deaf and dumb that his foundation finances, play basketball with Joakim Noah or sharing a meal with former UFC star Francis Ngannou.

A football match scheduled for Friday against FC Vent d’Etoudi, a Cameroonian D2 club, was however canceled, as Mbappé’s entourage were not reassured enough by the security system at the stadium.

“I enjoyed every moment” , Mbappe said.

“End of this incredible stay, he wrote Sunday morning on his Instagram account. Thank you to all Cameroonians for this wonderful welcome, I took advantage of every moment. See you soon I hope.”

While waiting to learn more about his future, the captain of the France team is expected to resume training with PSG in the coming days.
