Emmanuel Yeboah Finishes as Joint-Top Scorer of U23 AFCON : The 2023 CAF U23 Africa Cup of Nations tournament ended on Saturday as host nation Morocco defeated the Egypt U23 team in the final match of the competition to make sure the trophy remains in Rabat and Black Meteors striker Emmanuel Yeboah is one of the players with most goals scored in the tournament.

The CFR Cluj man netted three goals and made one assist in three games for the Ghana Olympic soccer team but it was not enough to see the Ghanaian team in the knockout stage.

However , the outright top scorer was handed to Abde Ezzalzouli of Morocco who also made three assists. The Barcelona player was on the podium to receive his award as Ibrahim Adel of Egypt clinched the Man of the tournament award.

Hamza Alaa of Egypt won the Best goalkeeper award while the Fair Play award went to Guinea.
