Wollacot Concedes Four Goals on Hibernian Debut :  Ghana international, Joseph Wollacott has played his first match for his new club, Hibernian on Thursday 13th July , 2023.

The Black Stars goalkeeper joined the Scottish Premiership club this summer in a move that saw him leaving English lower-tier side Charlton Athletic.

After training in the past few weeks with his teammates, Joseph Wollacott today started for Hibernian when the team engaged English side Bournemouth in a pre-season friendly match.

Despite making some good saves, the goalie and his team ended up on the losing side.

Bournemouth proved too strong for the side from Scotland and scored twice in each half to cruise to a 4-0 win as Wollacot conceded all the four goals.

Goals from David Brooks and Jaidon Anthony made the difference in the first half before a brace from Philip Billing in the second half secured the friendly victory for AFC Bournemouth.

Joseph Wollacott will hope to keep a clean sheet in the next friendly of Hibernian as he aims to prove himself for the number one spot before the start of the new football season.
