OFFICIAL : Bibiani Gold Stars tasks Michael Osei to win the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League !

Gold Stars Task Michael Osei to Win The 2023/24 GPL : Bibiani Gold Stars have targeted the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League as head coach Michael Osei is handed the biggest task of his coaching career.

The Bibiani side finished 9th and 5th in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 Ghana Premier League seasons respectively.

“Michael Osei is someone very close to me. Aside football we are very close friends. That is football , you need to have that relationship in order to have success.” , CEO Kwasi Adu said on Oyerepa TV.

“If you look at his former clubs , where he was coming from he did not good history. Liberty were a relegation side and Star Madrid went down but with us he is coming up. He is doing well with Gold Stars , we are bringing him up and so we have given him the target to win the league for us”

Osei has amassed ample experience in the country’s top-flight having worked at Asante Kotoko as assistant coach and interim boss. To Win the league definitely is a tough target for the former Ghanaian footballer.

In 2009/10 , Aduana FC made global history by winning the Ghana Premier League in their first ever top-flight season whilst Berekum Chelsea needed four seasons to win their maiden league title in 2010/11.

Medeama SC , reiging champions of Ghana , needed to wait for more than a decade to clinch their maiden league honor.
