Malian Journalist Says Ghana Fear Factor is Gone : The draw for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification series for African national teams was conducted on Thursday in Abidjan where the 45th Ordinary Congress of the Confederation of African Football took place.
Ghana and Mali cross path in Group I alongside Comoros , Central African Republic , Madagascar and Chad.
Reactions continue to come from fans , players , journalists and coaches and according to Malian journalist Bougou Ba , the fear factor of the Black Stars has gone.
“Their fear factor is gone. The last meetings between Ghana and Mali have gone on well for us. We defeated them 3-0” , the journalists reacted.
Meanwhile legendary Ghana striker , Asamoah Gyan who is both Ghana’s all top scorer on 51 goals and Africa’s leading scorer at the FIFA World Cup finals on 6 goals commented :
“I think since 2006 when we qualified for the first time to 2022 we have been very consistent…..2026 is not going to be easy but we will try our best to make sure we qualify,” Asamoah Gyan stated.
