Dreams FC captain Abdul Jalilu is confident that his outfit can make impact in the upcoming African campaign.
The Still Believe lads are set for their first African campaign after emerging as winners in the FA Cup competition last-term.
Milo FC will host Dreams FC on Saturday, August 19 before the reverse fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium a week later.
The FA Cup champions have been in camp for weeks preparing for their maiden African campaign. They have engaged Samartex, Black Galaxies and Heart of Lions as part of preparation for the Confederations Cup.
On Tuesday, the Still Believe lads made light work of Premier League returnees, Heart of Oak, inflicting a convincing 3-0 win over the Kpando-based club at the Accra Sports Stadium.
After the game, Jalilu expressed optimism about his outfit chances ahead of their game against Milo FC and the campaign at large.
“By God’s grace everything is going on well for us. I have also received good message from the playing body, we’ve been engaging ourselves as players ahead of our game against Milo FC.”
“So far, there is nothing bad in camp, good news in camp for us”
Quizzed on what fans should expect ahead of Milo FC game, he said,
“They should expect more from us, we are not going to disappoint them, we will make sure that we make them proud”
