Former Asante Kotoko head coach Seydou Zerbo says he is asking the Porcupine Warriors to settle his three-month unpaid salaries for the last time before he files a FIFA complaint against The Reds.
As his last option , the Burkina Faso national is planning to go to FIFA to get his monies paid.
“It has been five months now since I left the team to my country and still my salaries of three months have not been paid. You know what I have so much respect for the club Asante Kotoko , I respect the leaders of the team so much and that is why I have been patient till this point.” , Seydou Zerbo told Ghanasportspage.com on Thursday September 21st.
“I am a calm person and I am a professional too. So I have been patient enough but from today if they do nothing about it , then FIFA will be the next option. They have paid all the outstanding salaries of the players and so why have they not paid me? I don’t want to go to FIFA but right now I have no option than to go there to get my money” , Zerbo added.
The former RC Kadiogo manager saw his contract terminated in March 2023 following a home defeat against Medeama SC. The club has since undergone many changes ; Nana Yaw Amponsah is no more the Chief Executive Officer , Dr. Narteh Ogum has returned as head coach as an interim management committee has been installed by Otumfour Osei Tuu II.
Meanwhile the Reds drew 0-0 at home against Heart of Lions last Sunday during the opening week of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
