Former Ghana head coach James Kwesi Appiah is expected to become the head coach of the Sudan national men’s team after Otumfour Osei Tutu II agreed to make Appiah available for the big coaching job and the latter has now found one assistant coach to work with.
Kwesi Appiah is currently a member of the Asante Kotoko interim management committee set up by the Asantehene for the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The former Ghana international defender won elections at the Elective Congress of the Ghana Football Association in Tamale on October 6th to become one of the Executive Council members of the association.
Despite the fact that there has been an agreement in principle for Appiah to take the Sudan job , the latter has not officially pen a deal.
However , if Appiah is to officially sign a contract and go for the national team coaching job then the former Techiman Eleven Wonders , Dreams FC and Medeama head coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu will be one of the assistant coaches of the Ghanaian trainer who qualified Ghana to the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
