BRILLIANT : Kalo Ouattara reveals communication with Sherif Mohammed that led to Kotoko’s winner against Accra Lions !

Asante Kotoko registered their first victory of the season against Accra Lions on Monday during Week Four of the Ghana Premier League and it was striker Kalo Ouattara who netted the only goal of the game.

The Kotoko striker spoke after the game where he revealed the prior communication that took place between him and teammate Mohammed Sherif in jersey number 4 who assisted him with a pinpoint delivery into the Lions area.

Ouattara joined the Porcupine Warriors from Berekum Chelsea this season. He came off the bench in the 60th minute to replace Steven Mukwala before going on to head home the winning goal in the 90 + 9 minute at the Accra sports stadium.

The striker has reacted and this is what he said :

“My motivation for this game was the supporters , they wanted the win against Accra Lions and so that was what motivated me and the team.”

“Before Sherif Mohammed crossed the ball I gave him a signal to cross the ball to me and he did exactly that. He delivered it just exactly how I want me crosses.”
