Asante Kotoko midfielder Justice Blay has revealed the level of determination that helped the team to pick their first victory of the season against Accra Lions last Monday in Accra.
The Porcupine Warriors had seen a rough start to the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season but Kalo Ouattara’s injury time header won them their first match of the season and Blay says the players deserve it because they fought hard.
“The players are all happy , we are all happy for the win. If you look at the game you could see that we were really determined to win the match. Look at the time we scored the goal , we knew once the game has not ended we can score and we did just that. Is like the Arsenal and Man City game , you saw the time Arsenal scored the winning goal , it was very late in the game.” , Justice Blay said.
