Asante Kotoko travel to Nations FC during Week Six of the Ghana Premier League this weekend and Kotoko head coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum has briefly talked about that clash.
The Ashanti derby takes place on October 21st at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex. The win against Aduana FC has taken the Reds to 3rd place on the league standings with 8 points collected from five matches whilst Nations FC coached by former Bechem United gaffer Kasim Mingle are placed 15th on the league table with 4 points taken from possible 12.
“Yeah , it is more or less like a local derby and it is going to be a very good match. They are also a ball-playing side and then we try and see how we strategize to play against them” , Dr. Ogum said.
Nations FC are one of the newly promoted teams from the National Division One League alongside Bofoakwa Tano and Heart of Lions.
