“You can’t concede such poor goals against a quality side like Mexico” – Chris Hughton tells his Black Stars players ahead of USA game on Wednesday

At his pre-match press conference ahead of the USA – Ghana international friendly match on Wednesday , Ghana boss Chris Hughton did not fail to talk about his team’s defeat against Mexico over the weekend.

The Black Stars gaffer is visibly not happy with the quality of defending of his team after Mexico netted twice in the second half.

After the match , Hughton has been expressing his unhappiness about the goals conceded as he demands an improved performance in the second test match of his team in North America.

“We had a very challenging game of course on Saturday. In the first half of the game, we competed and competed very well and conceded two poor goals but you can’t do that against that type of quality. So yes, the challenges will be high but that is exactly why we are here.” , he said.
