Hearts of Oak have failed to win any of their last three league matches after FC Samartex held the Phobians at home on Saturday afternoon.
Martin Koopman made several changes to his starting team as the likes of Ibrahim Salifu and Ramos Kashala were named on the substitutes bench. The duo were introduced into the game in the second half but the Ghanaian giants still failed to score as the game ended 0-0.
It is the first point on the road recorded by the Timber Giants this season after losing at Nsoatreman and Nations FC.
The draw takes Samartex to joint-top of the league table level with Real Tamale United on 10 points whilst Hearts of Oak remained at the 12th position with five points after five games played.
The Phobians have a n outstanding match against Heart of Lions.
