The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) is set to meet the political parties and presidential candidates of the 2024 Ghanaian General Elections as the association demands the aspirants to make sports a key part of their policy plans. 

Ghana is a major sports nation with rich history in football and boxing, however, the West African country has experienced a developmental nosedive over the years regarding its favourite pastimes.

SWAG says it will use the opportunity to discuss the major challenges facing sports development in the country and learn about the political parties’ ambitious plans to improve sports in Ghana.
