OFFICIAL: Steven Mukwala Completes Simba Transfer After Leaving Asante Kotoko as a Free Agent

Uganda international attacker Steven Dese Mukwala has completed his move to Simba SC after leaving Asante Kotoko as a free agent, penning a three-year contract with the Tanzania giants.

“It’s All but a New Challenge. And am aware of the task a head. Am Proud to be a new lion in the City. NGUVU MOJA”, the Ugandan wrote on social media on Tuesday.

The talented forward netted 16 goals in competitions for Kotoko in the 2023/24 season, including 14 strikes in the Ghana Premier League.

His 14 league goals included two braces against Accra Hearts of Oak as Prosper Ogum’s side secured back to back league wins against their sworn rivals last season.

Overall, Mukwala scored 25 goals in 65 league appearances for the Porcupine Warriors.
