Sarfo Gyamfi Blasts Referee Daniel Laryea: Former Asante Kotoko player Sarfo Gyamfi has blasted referee Daniel Laryea for his ”horrible officiating” performance in the Medeama 1 Kotoko 1 Ghana Premier League game last Sunday.

Kwame Poku netted the game’s opening goal in the 44th minute, but Kamaradini Mamudu equalized for the home team in the 68th.

“Is this the so-called our best referee? He’s very incompetent. One of the worst in Africa” Gyamfi lamented on Kessben FM.

The former Kotoko man continued:

“I watched the match, and I can confidently say that Kotoko was cheated. Referee Laryea’s decisions were appalling, and it was clear that he was not up to the task on that day.”

“Referees are supposed to be neutral, but this referee was clearly on the side of the home team. He made questionable decisions that were in favor of Medeama, and it’s impossible to believe that those were honest mistakes,” Gyamfi added.
