Alexander Djiku Injury Update

Alexander Djiku Injury Update : Ghana international defender Alexander Djiku got injured during the 12th Ligue 1 match-day of the season on Sunday.

The strong center-back started the game against Toulouse but had to be stretchered off in the 25th minute after hurting his adductors.

“We hope it is nothing serious for our Ghanaian international” Strasbourg tweeted on Sunday.

Meanwhile the Ligue 1 club are expected to provide the full extent of the injury after medical examinations have been carried out.

Djiku is largely expected to make Ghana’s final squad list for the 2022 FIFA World Cup that kicks off next month.
