Goalkeeper Frederick Asare : The former Accra Lions goalkeeper marked his Asante Kotoko debut with a clean sheet against King Faisal FC on Monday.

Asare had the opportunity to start the game because first choice goalkeeper Ibrahim Danlad who helped the Black Meteors defeat Mozambique by 2-0 on Sunday was rested.

Asare kept 13 clean sheets for Accra Lions in the 2021/22 season and caught the attention of the Porcupine Warriors who captured him on free transfer back in August this year.
