Steven Mukwala : The Ugandan scored his first official goal for Asante Kotoko on Monday as the Porcupine Warriors humbled King Faisal FC.

Steven Mukwala finally scored his first goal for Asante Kotoko in the 2022/23 season after drawing blank in Africa and the first two league games.

The striker connected home an in – swinger from Dickson Afoakwa to put Kotoko ahead in the 10th minute before earning the penalty that saw captain Richard Boadu convert to make it 2-0 for the Reds.

Mukwala also got involved in the third Kotoko goal of the night as he assisted Nicholas Mensah to score.

The former URA FC attacker endured a difficult start in his debut season in Ghana but Kotoko will hope this sets the tone for a goal-laden season for their expatriate striker.
