Medeama - Kotoko Preview

Medeama – Kotoko Preview : Medeama SC will take on current holders of the Ghana Premier League title Kumasi Asante Kotoko in what will be the top liner of Matchweek Six of the betPawa Ghana Premier League on Saturday.

The match which takes place in Tarkwa at the Akoon Park is the only league game on Saturday and will be broadcast live on Star Times.

The hosts started the season on a front foot as one of three sides to pick two consecutive wins but as things stand they tailed off in a surprising fashion, losing their last 3 games to Berekum Chelsea , Aduana Stars and Great Olympics.

Kotoko with three wins from five matches under new manager Seydou Zerbo would somewhat be a positive start to the season ; the only blemish is losing away to Bechem United but as things stand, they lie 4th on the league log three points adrift current table toppers Aduana Stars.

This game represents a lot for both teams, the host will be looking to put an end to a bad patch of form whiles the away side will also look to deepen the woes of their host with an eye on the league table standings.

The contest also is a meeting between Medeama head coach David Duncan and his former employers Asante Kotoko.
